Girard-Perregaux is one of very few authentic Swiss watch manufacturers, and takes pride in ensuring that every timepiece perpetuates its historically prestigious standards. Established in 1791, Girard-Perregaux combines centuries of fastidious craftsmanship with cutting-edge technical expertise and a legendary flair for design. A thriving research and development department ensures the watches produced are not merely reproductions of past successes, but uniquely innovative creations guided by an ongoing quest for excellence.
The Piece
Girard-Perregaux have combined their technical expertise and stylistic superiority to create the ww.tc Cabinet de Curiosités 2011. Embodying the eventʼs principles of exclusivity, contrasts and curiosity, a white ceramic case sets off the durable ebony coating of the crowns and push pieces. Smoked sapphire glass adds an additional note of mystery. Beneath the sapphire glass, the white dial and each impeccably precise chronometric function of the timepiece are revealed. Tinted sapphire glass on the case-back displays the self-winding Girard-Perregaux GPO3387 movement, especially conceived for the ww.tc collection.
